Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

I am planning to take my four oldest children (Bethany, Caleb, Josiah, and Hannah) on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, July 1-8. When I was in High School, I went on a mission trip to Peru for a summer. I also spent a summer in Kenya after I graduated from college. These experiences were life changing. Learning about new cultures, growing spiritually, and seeing God’s work around the world had a big impact on my life. While we certainly pray that God uses us in the lives of the people we will meet, I believe this experience will also play an important role in our lives as we grow in the Lord.

LoveServes

We will be joining a ministry that works with local churches in the Dominican Republic called LoveServes. You can learn more about LoveServes and their ministry strategy by watching this video. We will be working with a local pastor and his wife, Bruno and Marcia, to minister to the people in their area and help complete the construction of a building used for ministering to the local children.
